1. What LCP provides

LCP certifies the skills of working people. Through the website and app we provide:

• certification courses, in levels (Level 1 to Level 4), made of training videos and knowledge-check questionnaires;
• skill assessments: a video of the worker at their trade, graded by their employer’s supervisor and confirmed by an LCP validator;
• digital certificates and ID cards, each with a QR code anyone can scan to check it on our website;
• tools for employers to manage their workforce, documents and training.

2. Accounts

• An account is for one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• The details you give — name, phone number, identity documents, employer — must be true. Your employer may create and manage your account on your behalf.
• We may suspend an account that is used to cheat, to impersonate someone, or against these terms.

3. Courses, assessments and certificates

• A level opens when it is assigned to you and, if it has a price, once that price is paid. Each level must be finished within the time shown for it.
• Answers, recordings and videos you submit must be your own work. Getting help to answer, or submitting someone else’s video, is cheating.
• A certificate is issued when you pass the level’s requirements, or when your skill assessment is graded and confirmed. It states your trade, level and how long it is valid.
• We may withdraw (revoke) a certificate obtained by cheating, false information or a mistake. A withdrawn certificate shows as not valid when its QR code is checked.

4. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian rupees (INR) and are shown before you pay; current prices are on our Pricing page. Many levels are free.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, a regulated payment gateway, by UPI. LCP never sees or stores your UPI PIN, card or bank details.
• A course level can be paid for by the worker or by their employer. Once payment is confirmed the level opens straight away.
• Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, to copy or resell course material, to upload unlawful or offensive content, or to collect other people’s personal information.

6. Intellectual property

The course material, questionnaires, certificate designs, the LCP name and logo belong to AIMRI Industrial Varsity or its partners. You may use them only to take your courses and show your certificates. Videos you upload stay yours; you allow LCP to store them and show them to the people who assess and certify you.

7. Availability and liability

• We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
• An LCP certificate records an assessment of skill at a point in time; it is not a guarantee of employment or of future performance.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a paid course level is limited to the amount paid for that level.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use LCP after a change means you accept it.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kochi (Ernakulam), Kerala, India. Please contact us first — most questions are settled quickly.
