Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email (if given), photo, employer, trade and years of experience — from you or from your employer when they register you.
• Identity documents: documents you or your employer upload (for example an ID card or certificate) and the details on them. Certificates print only the last four digits of an Aadhaar number.
• Training records: the courses and levels assigned to you, videos watched and for how long, questionnaire scores, skill-assessment videos and their grades, and the certificates issued.
• Payments: the amount, what it was for, and the payment’s status and reference from Razorpay. We never receive your UPI PIN, card or bank details.
• Messages: what you send through our contact form or a certificate report, including any photo you attach.
• Technical data: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs (such as IP address and time) kept for security. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

2. Why we use it

• to run your account and sign you in;
• to deliver courses, record progress, assess skills and issue certificates;
• to let anyone holding a certificate’s QR code check that it is genuine;
• to process payments and refunds;
• to answer your questions, prevent fraud and keep the service secure;
• to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who can see it

• Your employer (its supervisors and administrators on LCP) sees the records of the people in their company.
• LCP staff and validators see what they need to review documents, assessments and certificates.
• Anyone who scans a certificate’s QR code sees what is printed on it: name, trade, level, validity, employer and the last four Aadhaar digits.
• Service providers who process data for us under contract: our hosting provider in India (the application and database); Microsoft Azure, UAE North region (uploaded files and videos); Google Firebase (texting sign-in codes); Razorpay (payments); and our email provider (contact-form replies).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Account details are kept while the account is active. Certification records are kept for as long as a certificate can be checked, and afterwards as long as the law requires, so that a certificate shown to an employer can always be verified. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Information we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.

5. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Uploaded files are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived links for signed-in people allowed to see them. Access inside LCP is limited by role, and passwords are stored only as secure hashes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it (an issued certificate may need to remain verifiable);
• withdraw consent you have given, for the future;
• nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to.

Write to us at LCP@aimri.in. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Children

LCP is meant for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18; if you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
